Follow these steps to learn how to use this handy browser extension on your desktop or laptop:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Search for <strong>Video Downloader<\/strong><strong> PLUS<\/strong> in the Chrome Web Store.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the extension\u2019s page and left-click the <strong>Add To Chrome<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After you install the extension, open the <strong>Extensions<\/strong> page. Its icon is a single jigsaw puzzle piece next to the address bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Left-click the pin button next to Video Downloader PLUS. This pins the extension next to the browser\u2019s address bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open a new tab and go to X. Sign in to your account and go to the DMs page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Left-click the conversation that contains the video you want to download.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap the Video Downloader PLUS extension and play the video in the DM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait until the video preloads fully. It\u2019s unclear how long the social network will keep a copy of your media file. Usually, when you delete a tweet, it remains in X\u2019s database for 14 days.
